Mikaela “Mika” Lucido is a Filipina Canadian storyteller. Born in Manila, Philippines, she immigrated to Canada at age 4 and now lives in her hometown of Mississauga.
She is the author of The Unofficial Official Renley Crow Detective Club series. Her words have been featured in Layered Butter, Ricepaper Magazine, Goalcast, Tiger Tea Zine, Cambio & Co., Living Hyphen, Augur Magazine, and Gothic Tales of Haunted Futures.
She holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing & Publishing (Sheridan College) and was the recipient of their 2021 Ampersand Award.
